About CCRA


CCRA, Charlton Central Residents Association is committed to ensuring a safe and friendly community.

We organise social events such as a community day and quiz nights. Please check our calendar for all the latest up and coming events.

We also run local groups such as singing, community gardening and a local history group to name but a few.

Two small amendments were made to the constitution at the 2016 AGM.  For comparison, you can find a copy of the previous constitution below.

Details of General Meetings of the Association

Our AGM will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at St Richard’s Hall, Swallowfield Road, SE7 7NS.
After the normal business of the meeting, there will be presentations on the theme of ‘greening’, relating to our recent Ward Budget Grant from the Council.  After an introduction by the current chair, Brenda Taggart,  there will be presentations from Judy Wolfram of Charlton Community Gardens, and Caroline Love on allotments in Charlton.

Previous General Meetings

AGM 2016, Thursday October 6 2016, 7.30 pm, St Richard’s Hall, Swallowfield Road

As well as the election of officers and committee members for the coming year, there were two amendments to the constitution.  The business meeting was followed by a presentation from our local MP, Matthew Pennycook, on his work during his first year as an MP, followed by a question and answer session.

AGM 2015, Monday 5th October 2015, 7.30 pm, St Richard’s Hall, Swallowfield Road

The main business of the meeting was the election of officers and committee members for the coming year, and the minutes will be published in due course. After the meeting, there were presentations from Jill Austen (CCRA) and Dr Ian Mudway (King’s College, London) on the subject of air quality and its impact on health and wellbeing. Closing entertainment was provided by the CCRA Singers
